I office out of my home, located near Ken Caryl and Pierce in Littleton 80128 and I want to share some specifics for you since this is a home office. My home is not fully ADA compliant as there is one step into the house. This is the only step you will incur. (If you are unable to navigate one step, we can talk about doing Telehealth sessions.) There is ample parking on the street in front of my home and in inclement weather, you can park on the left side of the driveway (closest to the front door). The office is private so confidentiality is maintained.
There is no waiting area in my home for clients. Therefore I ask that you not arrive much more than a few minutes before your session. If you do not want to wait in your vehicle, you are welcome to wait on the bench on my front porch. I will have a sign on my door. If the red sign is out (says Please Wait), please do not enter. If the green welcome sign is out, please come in. You do not need to knock or ring the doorbell to announce yourself. In fact, I prefer that you don’t ring the doorbell.
I have a guest bathroom in my home that you will be able to use. You are welcome to wear shoes in my home, though if it is raining or snowing I ask that you bring an extra pair of shoes to keep the floor clean and dry or you’re welcome to wear socks.
I have animals – two cats and a dog. I try to maintain a clean office as to help anyone who may be allergic to animals and have an air purifier. However, if you are greatly allergic to animals, I would ask that you come to the house to see if you will be able to see me in my office. If you are unable to tolerate animal dander, Telehealth sessions may be an alternative.
An advantage of my home is the ability to do some sessions in my beautiful and private backyard. It is your call if you would like to do sessions there during the summer months in the morning. Here are some pictures of this area.
